One Owner John Lorge, Principal Horn San Diego Symphony (1987-2008) Played on all SDSO recordings from '91 onward. Played on Koch International records recordings with "Arioso Wind Quintet" including John Harbison wind quintet and the Barber "Summer Music" and "Knoxville: Summer of 1915" with San Diego Chamber Orchestra. Valves rebuilt in 2000. Good horn with a robust sound and good centers. Includes hard/flat case. $3,100. Other horn in pristine original condition. Like new, not played much. Played in SDSO and SDCO. Owned by Wendell Hoss until it was purchased by the last owner in 2003. Marvelous horn for light ensembles; excellent for Mozart, Rossini, and Donizetti to mention a few. Great for any chamber music but quite feasible in orchestral settings as well. Has an "Atkinson" leadpipe and custom leather case.
