This bass is extremely rare and next to impossible to find. As far as I can tell during 1973 only about 237 of these basses were shipped from Gibson with less then 1000 built in total. This instrument has a set maple neck, natural alder body, and a rosewood fret board, humbucking pickups, full scale neck with all original hardware. This was the first year Gibson started using the three anchor bridge that is still in use today. The bass has the expected amount of wear that you would normally find in an instrument of this year with a few belt buckle marks on back, some wear in the finish on the front and some small dings here and there which I show on the photos. Serial number 177185.
